Experience the serenity of our unique lakeside oval sauna, perfectly paired with a wood-fired hot tub barrel on the shore. After an authentic sauna session, you can cool off by stepping straight into the lake from the adjacent swimming pier.
Oval Sauna
On the shore of Lake Saarjärv stands a unique oval sauna, offering a direct and refreshing dip into the lake from the adjacent swimming pier.
The sauna features a comfortable steam room that can accommodate up to 8 guests at a time.
In the small washroom at the front, you can rinse off using traditional lake water with a bowl and ladle — a classic Estonian method.
The wood-burning heater also heats the water used in the sauna.
Wood-Fired Hot Tub
Unwind in our wood-fired hot tub, filled with clean peat bog lake water.
The tub comfortably fits 8 to 10 people at a time.
Local tradition says that peat water has rejuvenating properties — come and experience it for yourself.
Glass Sauna
A second sauna has arrived at Saarjärve in the Spring of 2025 – set beside the oval sauna, right on the lakeshore.
This glass-fronted sauna features a full lake-facing window, offering breathtaking natural views directly from the steam room.
Together, the two saunas and the hot tub form a small lakeside wellness corner we lovingly call our “forest spa.”
