Saarjärve Holiday House Presents: “From the Forest to the Plate” Pop-Up Restaurant

For the second year in a row, Saarjärve Holiday House is opening a pop-up restaurant on its premises as part of the “From the Forest to the Plate” event.

Nestled amidst the forests of Põlvamaa and on the shores of the beautiful Saarjärv lake, Saarjärve Holiday House, known for its accommodations, is transforming into a pop-up restaurant for one special weekend. Guests can expect a delightful evening filled with forest-inspired dishes, a cozy atmosphere by the fireplace, and breathtaking lake views. As night falls, our illuminated forest creates a magical ambiance.

Head Chef Elar Jürimäe from the Alto restaurant and Alto Bakery in Tallinn will be taking over the kitchen at Saarjärve. Elar and the hosts have a shared history of running a beach restaurant near Tallinn, and they’re excited to reunite for another weekend of exceptional hospitality, delicious food, and perfectly paired drinks in the heart of the South Estonian forests.

Fri, Sat 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm (or until the last guest leaves)
Sun 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm (or until the last guest leaves)
Mon 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm (Father’s Day)

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Due to the limited seating and high demand last year, we kindly ask you to secure your reservation with a deposit.
Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to one week before the event.
